Thursday night Andrew W.K. brought the party to Delmar Hall. The ‘You’re Not Alone’ tour sees Andrew W.K. backed by his full band. ‘You’re Not Alone’ was released in March and is his 5th studio album to date. Before the band even sets foot on stage fans have started to chant ‘Party Party’. Slowly the band comes out to ‘The Power of Partying’ and as soon as Andrew W.K. comes out Delmar Hall erupts as the band kicks things off with ‘Music Is Worth Living For’. From that moment it set the pace for the near nonstop party atmosphere for the night.
At one point in the night the band leaves the stage and Andrew W.K. is brought out his custom-made Pizza Guitar from the ESP Guitar company. The night ended with Andrew W.K. saying they were going to do a countdown from 93. At zero the band burst into his biggest hit, “Party Hard,”.
Local country-rock band Tortuga opened the night.
