Fans had been waiting a while for their chance to see Echosmith at Delmar Hall. The show on Sunday night had been postponed from November 2nd, 2017 date because the band wanted to spend more time working on their new album. They did release a 7-Song EP titled “Inside a Dream” on September 29 in place of their full length album, which will now be released in Spring 2018.

Singer/songwriter Jena Rose opened the night. Even with only a five song set she got the crowd going and was a lot of fun.

New Your Indie pop band The Score was up next. The band consists of Eddie Anthony (vocals, guitar) and Edan Dover (keyboard). They are accompanied by bass and drums on tour. I was unfamiliar with the band then I heard ‘Unstoppable’ and couldent put my finger on where I had heard it as I mostly listen to music via streaming services. When I came home I looked it up and found out that it has been used for many promotional spots in commercials, movies, and even for the World Series of Poker.

It is always fun to see a young band at different stages of their career. I first saw them back in 2014 on the Vans Warped Tour and then again in 2015 when they opened for Twenty One Pilots. Echosmith consist of siblings Sydney, Noah and Graham Sierota. Their older sibling Jamie departed from the group in 2016. The band started the night with ‘18’, a song off their new EP ‘Inside A Dream’.  Midway into the set during the song ‘Bright’ the band finished it out with a snippet of Death Cab For Cutie’s ‘I Will Follow You Into The Dark’. The band came out for a one song encore with their breakout hit ‘Cool Kids’.
