Wednesday night Valerie Anne Poxleitner AKA Lights played Delmar Hall on her ‘We Were Here’ tour.

Toronto-born DCF (a.k.a. David Charles Fischer) got the night started. He addressed the audience about his outfit choice for the night saying that he had rented a prince costume for the tour, but has already been confused for someone dressed as Cap’n Crunch or a member of Hamilton. He ended his thirty minute set with an acoustic cover of Paramore’s “Misery Business”.

Australian trio Chase Atlantic kept the crowd going. You can catch them this summer, July 3rd @ Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, on the last coast to coast Vans Warped Tour.

Lights emerged on stage in front of a wall LED beams, her figure a blacked-out silhouette and kicked things off with ‘New Fears’, off of 2017s Skin & Earth. It didn’t take long for fans to start singing along to every word. At one point a guy brought out a pizza box toward her. As she opened the box she asked fans what kind of pizza do you think is in the box. As she put her hand in the box she played the first few notes from 2014 hit “Up We Go”. About half way into the set they played a few acoustic songs one being a cover of Cher’s ‘Believe’. Lights closed the night with the Giants, the first single off of Skin & Earth single. She also re-released the single in four additional languages Japanese, French, Tagalog and Spanish. Lights did not stay off stage long and finished the night with a two song encore of ‘We Were Here’ and ‘Almost Had Me’.
