Sunday night Las Vegas, Nevada’s Palaye Royale brought their Death or Glory tour to The Pageant in St. Louis, MO. The band consists of brothers Remington Leith (lead vocalist), Sebastian Danzig (guitarist, organist), and Emerson Barrett (drummer) and fuse fashion-art rock, glam rock and art-punk. This was my second time seeing Palaye Royale, the first was way back in 2016 when the band played Vans Warped tour. At the time I had never heard of them but had seen photos of the band and they looked like they would be a fun band to photograph if their set was not during another band that I had wanted to see.

Kicking things off with ‘Death or Glory‘ with front man Remington Leith entering the show by leaping off the riser at the back of the stage. Both Remington Leith and Sebastian Danzig worked the stage running and jumping and keeping the crowd wanting more. The night was filled with several fan favorites like ‘Little Bastards’, ‘No Love in LA’, ‘Showbiz’, and ‘Lonely’. The band ended their high energy and theatric show with a three song encore of ‘Dead to Me’, ‘Lonely’, and ‘Mr. Doctor Man’. If you get the chance to catch the band when they come to a town near you don’t pass them up as they put on a great show.
