Saturday night Underoath brought their They’re Only Chasing Safety 20th anniversary tour to The Pageant in St. Louis, MO.

Lead singer Spencer Chamberlain came out and sat on a couch that was on a riser positioned between drummer Aaron Gillespie and keyboardist Christopher Dudley and started off the nights set with the last song off the album ‘Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape’. As each member came on stage they would turn on a lamp next to where they were playing. From there on the band would perform the entirety of They’re Only Chasing Safety in album order. Chamberlain told the crowd that the next song was not meant before playing the bands most popular song off the album ‘A Boy Brushed Red Living in Black and White‘. Around the halfway point of the album Chamberlain asked the crowd who the youngest fan in the crowd was and brought up a seven year old boy with his dad to sit on the couch. He then asked for the oldest fan but ended up choosing another young fan and his mom and dad to sit on the couch during ‘Reinventing Your Exit’. After the band finished playing the album they played another six songs that had been voted on by the fans to play on the tour.
